The Japanese Music Garden was a concept for a small private gallery commissioned by an art collector in Hamamatsu, Japan.
The plot was a disused car park with a rectangular shape. The brief was not only to have a space to display the private art collection but a space where debate, music, culture and relaxation in nature co-exist and become a unique oriental style cultural garden.

Concept
Visiting this private gallery was designed to be a journey in and around the garden. Inspired by Chinese gardens, moss gardens and walled gardens, we created an interlinked space.
